When I first saw the above image I thought that this isn't a drama for me......But after watching the trailer👇👇 I thought of starting this drama and guess what it's superb

18 Again is a South Korean television series based on the 2009 film 17 Again by Jason Filardi.

18 again is a drama which is based on comedy, romance, fantasy, Youth..

This story follows a husband who suddenly returned to his golden days, when he was 18, right before filing for divorce from his wife. Hong Dae-young was a basketball star in his high school days. He was a genius who attracted the spotlight with his basketball skills. However, the 37-year-old him is merely an ordinary man. While he was regretting his life, he returned to his 18-year-old body with his 37-year-old soul. He changes his name to Go Woo-young, and started living his new life using this second identity.[source:iQIYI]

After reading the story you will think that this ain't a story for you because it's about husband & wife which isn't for me.....Actually I also thought the same....But see in the above image even 13-24 age liked this drama......

Here are the four reasons to watch 18 again k-drama....

1.Lee Do Hyun is the main lead.....

Lee do Hyun is now one of top raising actor in korea......I first saw him in Hotel del Luna, actually I was impressed by his acting at the first moment....then I saw are there any more of his dramas but there are none😭😭{as main lead},Luckily lee do hyun is having so many main role dramas now.....like 18 again, sweet home{airing soon}, etc... So I just added him as favourite and left.....but after seeing his 18 again drama again now I am a die hard fan of him.....

Not only me I saw so many people liked Lee do Hyun's acting in 18 again {in mydramalist comments}.

2.It's having so many comedy scenes.....

Actually this drama is one of comedy genre drama I have watched......If you see the above video then you might understand why I am saying this is a good drama...!!

Trust me and don't care about first half an hour{1st episode..} of the drama I bet you will also like this drama....

3.Flash back scenes are beautiful......

Spoiler alert : Here han so eun & lee do hyun are childhood classmates....

Viewers would definitely expect a certain amount of flashback scenes to set the tone of the drama. So far, we have seen some flashback scenes of when the main leads were still in school.

We found ourselves wanting more so we could catch a glimpse of teen lee do hyun and han so eun, as well as what their relationship was like back then.

4.Father-Son relationship.....

In this drama father-son relationship is so touching. It taught me so many lessons....maybe it will for you too.....

While the entire world is in lock down{due to corona virus} korean & chinese dramas are getting more & more popular these days....

One of the most question whether a rookie / veteran to K & C Dramas think is which countries drama are good? what are differences between these countries dramas?  

***Note : Here I don't want to discuss which countries drama's are better!!!! , Because both countries have both their strengths & weaknesses. Here I want to compare both countries dramas. If there are any points you want me to add / missing points you can feel free to comment in comment section.....& I watched 90+ dramas as of Dec,2020 , it's my comparison as of my experience in these dramas....

K-Dramas VS C-Dramas :

Both k-dramas & c-dramas have pros and cons, it depend on the drama you watch....

Below is the detailed comparison between korean dramas and chinese dramas.....

1.Duration :

As every chinese drama watcher knows some of c-dramas contain 50-60 dramas with duration of 28-47 minutes.....which is almost 28+ hours😱😱, some dramas contain 80 episodes too....I will never go towards those dramas....this is one of a major drawback chinese dramas have.

Now coming to korean dramas, k-dramas contain 16 episodes in 90%+ dramas...and duration is between 60 min - 90 min , so it's almost 17-20 hours which is manageable but the waiting for next episode is like torturing yourself.....because k-dramas release 2ep. per week and you have to wait for it.....a drama will usually last approx. 2 months.

2.Production :

K-drama & C-drama production systems are completely different....., k-drama has live production system i.e., the filming will go on while the drama is airing. But c-drama is different c-drama production system is entirely pre-filmed i.e., it is fimed before airing everytime...., C-drama production system is better than k-drama system as there might be mistakes in production of k-drama system as they depend on viewers expectations...

3.Screen Play...

Actually most of c-dramas are taken from novels.....and now a days some of k-dramas are taken from animes...and most of k-dramas are done by pro-writers....

It depends on drama in this case either for k-drama / c-drama......becoz both countries have some of best screenplay's I've seen.

4.culture / Genre

As everyone knows k-dramas are famous for Modern & romance genres....whereas c-dramas are famous for Historical & fantasy genres...but Lately c-dramas are more focused on modern dramas......

Both k-dramas & c-dramas have their strengths in this aspect.....

• One of the thing I didn't like in chinese dramas is language sound!!!!{But it isn't that bad i.e., manageable}

Well I was once a k-drama addict, & watched over 60+ dramas in 2-3 months...in these two months while the whole world is running on I was in front of my laptop watching k-dramas without sleeping / eating / working{/studying} etc... Do you know when I realized it I have tons of pending work{which I never usually have..}, lost some of my memory😂😂, not understanding what to do...

So if you are also similar to me then you are also addicted to k-dramas....there is no reason to deny it. Accept it that makes you decrease your addiction.

You know what? Watching a good k-drama is the best way to relax yourself or relieve your stress. When you started to see you will even forget your problems if it is a funny/serious/..some other genre drama. But some times we can't stop watching one after another dramas...{like I liked Lee Do-hyun's acting in Hotel del Luna so I watched him in 18 again[in this case I watched 2 only{as he is new} but some times for example. lee jong suk I watched 9-10 at a time} [This ain't a good sign!!].

Korean dramas are most popular these days. There is an increase in audience of international countries from 2015-2016...K-dramas are so popular that stories from k-dramas are getting adaptions from Hollywood & others...

Reasons for why are k-dramas addictive :

1. Actually k-dramas are not real but some of plots describe about truth {sometimes entire drama} those makes you watch it becoz you have already experienced it...
2. Handsome / beautiful cast....🎭👩‍🎤👨‍🎤
3. Background music that gets you hooked to that drama while a kiss scene / fight ...etc 🎼🎧🎙
4. Some of dialogues in dramas that made you feel like how can a writer write that??✍
5. Fashionable outfits{not in everyone's case}👗
6. Amazing stories that you will never expect!!!
7. Humor that gets you hooked{sometimes entire drama is funny, & I love it}🤣
8. Nice graphics in supernatural dramas📽
9. Superb viewing experience
10. Feast in k-dramas🤤
11. The cinematography🎦
12. Locations that make you wanna go there
13. Kiss scenes💏💋

After this entire time we are finally getting to know how I got over my k-drama addiction..

How I got over my k-drama addiction :

No matter what I do, how bad I think about k-dramas I still watch k-dramas😭😭.At this time of my life I am not even understanding what I should do?? I am getting addicted over & over at that time these are the ways I decreased my k-drama addiction....

1.Started using MyDramalist!!!

After reading the above sub-heading you might thinking what the heck am I talking about read the below para to know more....

1. When you are going to start a drama you will read about it's story , cast , etc... and you can use comment / review section that will make you watch dramas that are useful only {not starting a useless drama & dropping it}
2. Here you can add what are the dramas you have watched / dropped / plan to watch /... so you can have everything organized...
3. If you are watching more dramas them when you see your profile{& see time watched} then you will get aware that you are wasting your time...

2.Just keep on watching until you get sick of it...

As mentioned above I watched 60+ dramas in 2-3 months while doing nothing except watching when I completed 70-80 dramas my taste changed I watched dramas that are superb only{or else dropped}...while I completed almost 80 dramas in 2-3 months it took me 3 months to watch 12 more dramas

• Who knows maybe you will also get sick of it one day....
• Or else realize that entire world is running but you are wasting your time & start studying/working...

3.Find another hobbies / other work that is as exciting as k-dramas...

Note while choosing a hobby :

• Don't choose watching/blogs/vlogs/etc...anything about k-dramas...

As choosing any hobby makes you think less about dramas and slowly you can get rid of it.

These made me watch K-dramas less....but these doesn't work for anyone.....so let's know other ways that might work for you.....

Other ways to quit k-dramas :

These are ways I didn't used but might be helpful to you....

1.Being a workaholic or schoolaholic....

As my drama period started while the world is in lock down{corona virus} I didn't get to do this....anyway if lock down isn't there I wouldn't have even watched dramas....

This might be so much helpful as you keep yourself busy & forget about drama / virtual life...

2.Get a real boyfriend / girlfriend ...💑

Actually I want to get a girlfriend but I just didn't do it / maybe not found one.....

As both live in real world / you will be afraid to tell your partner & quit it....if you get a girlfriend/boyfriend who also watches dramas don't think you will quit dramas.

3.Get a true job / dream job

Get yourself a true job or dream job , then you will quit k-dramas on your own....

4.Use productivity apps in phones / laptops...

Install cold turkey blocker / focus me / etc... in your pc & lock me out / forest /etc... in phone these blockers won't let you hack them so you can keep a block and stop watching dramas ..

Hope you will be also able to stop your addiction over k-dramas...
